Indiana is the capital of Indiana, and the most populated city in Indiana. Currently, it is estimated that there is just under 900,000 people living in the city.
Indianapolis has a rich history, and during the Civil War, it was loyal to The Union. Soon enough, it established itself as a major military hub. Around 4,000 men were recruited, and at least 700 perished in this way. This lead to Indianapolis taking some damage when it came to its economy. But soon after the Civil War, Indianapolis became incredibly prosperous and eventually became one of the world’s largest pork-packing cities, and then, several years later, it became the second largest railroad center in the United States. To this day, it remains a prosperous and inviting city with a rich history.
